There is something about the space between where we are and where we're going, the quiet stretch of landscape that feels both familiar and just out of reach.
Somewhere Between Here and There is an original abstract landscape painting built through layers of soft blues, warm earth tones, and sweeping, atmospheric marks. The piece balances movement with stillness, creating a landscape that feels expansive without belonging to one particular place.
This painting became the starting point for a new body of work in my studio, an exploration of distance, memory, color, and the feeling of a place rather than the place itself.
At 36 × 48 inches, the painting has a substantial presence and is especially suited for larger living spaces, above a sofa or console, or anywhere a room calls for a statement-scale original work.
